Trucks in the dirt!

The greatest activities for me are the ones that resemble real life. Not only cause they look great, but they also capture the essence of imaginative and pretend play, while children learn to understand the world around them. I created this simple piece, that my son absolutely loved using:

· Sand

· Water

· Cornflour

· Coco powder

· Tray/container any size

How to create:

Mix cornflour, water and coco powder in the tray, until it’s has the consistency of gloopy mud. The coco powder really gives it a great smell too! Excellent for sensory exploration.

Add your trucks, cars or what ever transport toys you desire.

Sprinkle some sand in to the mix and stir if you like for your desired effect. Leave some sand sprinkled on the top, to make it really look like a construction site.

Extend:

To extend you could also add people, cranes and miniature bricks made out of play dough.
